Through these experiences, I have gained knowledge on treating a diverse range of conditions that result in communication, cognition and swallowing needs. These include but are not limited to  neurological disorders (TBI, RHD, Dementia), Brain Tumors and diseases (Huntington's, Parkinson's, Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis/ALS) Laryngeal, Oral Cancers, and stroke. I also have experience treating patients with birth defects (Down syndrome, Fragile X syndrome, Cerebral palsy), developmental delays/disorders (Apraxia, Dysarthria, Articulation, Stuttering), and Autism. 

 

My passion is for people of all ages to thrive. To have the ability to understand those around them and to be understood by their community. In return, to ensure the ability to live their best quality of life!

 

I am happily married to an awesome graphic designer and senior art director! I am a mother to 3 awesome boys! In my free time I enjoy travel, spending time with family and friends and playing card and board games!
